Jet Viure is a gender nonconforming writer/producer/director from San Jose, California, raised by Indian immigrant parents with conflicted views on media.

Immersed in the vibrant spectacle of Bollywood and the raw intensity of Hollywood, Jet found early inspiration in Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas, a catalyst that led them to earn a BA in Film and Broadcast Communications from San Francisco State University, followed by an MFA in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University.

Their work, shaped by personal experiences of trauma and resilience, centers protagonists who fight for identity, self-expression, and freedom within oppressive environments. Passionate about storytelling as a force for empathy and change, Jet has worked with Fortune 500 companies and most recently, the action blockbuster powerhouse, 87North.
